I love kid's birthdays. They are filled with excitement, fun and happy moments. I love to capture the expressions and different moments and all the bright colors.
This was Julia's fourth birthday. The theme was kitty-cat and mom organized a small get together with Julia's closest friends. They did crafts, played games, run around the yard chasing balloons and of course, ate cake!

This was so much fun! Every kid got a yarn of wool and they had to kitty-walk to the other side of the yard unrolling the yarn just like cats playing...
and getting all tangled up!
Trying to get the balloons to the other side of the fence was lots of fun!
And of course, cake was good!

As usual Andrea, you captured the wonder and joy that is a child's birthday party. I just love how you capture moments in time that evoke so much emotion, but you do it without taking the normal portrait style photos. Your talent is truly inspiring to me.
