Christa & Matthew

A beautiful Autumn day in an amazing location.

A gorgeous bride.

And a handsome groom.

Starting their family history together as a couple, on October 25th.

Surrounded by those who love and support them.

It was as simple as that, and as amazing as that. A truly adorable couple, Christa and Matthew had the most beautiful wedding day in Big Canoe just a few days ago. I was constantly in awe of the amazing decorations Christa's mom put together... wherever you looked there was a detail that made the place special and unique.

But most important of all, was the feeling of love and celebration that was felt all day long as family and friends witnessed such an important day in Christa & Matthew's lives.

May you live a life full of love and joy and remember this day for years to come.

Thanks for allowing me to be a part of such a special time in your lives. It was a true honor.

Please also see Christa & Matthew's Slideshow by clicking here.

I personally want to thank Scott Wang for working with me and getting some fabulous images and to my husband Rich, who continues to get better and better images and whose immense help throughout every event I could not do without.

I want to invite everyone to leave comments below, not only for me, but for Christa and Matthew as well.

Thanks,
Andrea.-

Getting ready for Christmas

This past week I had a really fun session. Sharyn wanted me to photograph her daughter Lucy for their Christmas cards and also shoot some additional portraits.

We started at home, with grandma’s piano...
Apparently Lucy was "faking" it quite well during the session since mom says she does not play much these days :)

Than we headed out to the barn where Lucy takes riding lessons. Sharyn, Lucy, their two dogs - Maggie & Zorro- and a huge wreath all packed up in their van and off we went.

It was quite a challenge to get the dogs to stay still with Lucy --especially when this little fellow paid them a visit :)

But Lucy was a trooper and "wrestled" with the little monsters so that we could ge some great shots.

Then we headed out and got to watch Lucy ride and did a few more portraits before it was time to call it a day.

A great day overall, with clients that loved to "play". Thanks Lucy and Sharyn, it was really fun!

Eddie is growing up!

Remember Eddie?

He was my first post in the blog back in January. Well, the boy is getting bigger and bigger and I am thrilled to be invited back to capture these family memories.

Eddie is now 9 months old and he is all boy.

He loves bubbles!

See his tongue to the side of his mouth? He could not stop feeling his new upper tooth -it was too funny!

This time around, mom & dad were joined by the grandparents (mom's parents) who are just in awe of their very first grandchild (still playing with that new upper tooth!)

And of course we could not miss his very first Halloween outfit! Tell me that is not just too cute!

I have to say I could not stop clicking... Eddie was just so funny and cute that I would have stayed another hour had he not run me out with the yawns the poor boy.

Thanks again Mark and Emily for inviting me into your home to capture your family memories.

And I look forward to seeing you again in January!

Kelly & Adamo...

... and Lucca :)

Kelly and Adamo are a beautiful couple that I just photographed 10 days ago. They are expecting their first child, Lucca in a few weeks and I had the pleasure of documenting this very special moment in their lives.

It is interesting how many maternity shots I have had lately... as you can see by browsing through the blog. It is such fun to work with couples when they are expecting a baby... they look radiant and I love to capture those happy faces and their relationship.

Here are a few images from Kelly & Adamo's session.

These two "babies" will be jumping up and down Lucca's crib soon :)

I think you look awesome!

I hope to meet Lucca soon as well :)

Thanks a lot to both of you for allowing me to be a part of such an important time in your lives. I hope that you have enjoyed these images.

And to family and friends... please leave comments for Heather & Adamo below!

Expecting Lawson

I love how Aimee and Lawrence came up with their baby’s name. Lawson: Son of Lawrence. Apparently Lawrence is a family name, but mom & dad did not want their boy to not go by III or IV (I lost track :) and yet maintain the family tradition. So the baby will be officially named Lawrence but he will be called Lawson. I though it was a great idea and it turned out to be quite a cute name for a boy!

Anyhow, these are Aimee (and Lawson ;) and Lawrence during their maternity session last weekend. They are such an adorable couple, we had a great time working together (well, at least I did :) and I can't wait to meet Lawson!

And here they are with their "current baby" (who is probably up for a rude awakening :)

I hope you like the images. And please leave greetings to the parents-to-be and any new parenting advice you may want to share :)

Thanks for stopping by. And thanks to Liz & Heather for referring Aimee to me!

Christa & Matthew

What a fun Saturday afternoon. Last weekend, we spend a couple of hours hanging out in Norcross with Christa & Matthew doing their engagement session. They are getting married in Big Canoe at the end of the month, so this was a "late" e-session :) but I am glad we did it!

Christa and Matthew live in Statesboro but Christa's parents live in Big Canoe, so they chose that beautiful setting for what I am sure will be a perfect Fall Wedding. I just can't wait!

Below you are a few selected images from their session. I hope you like them as much as I did.

And please leave your comments and well wishes for Christa and Matthew below. I am sure they’ll love to read them.

Enjoy,

Andrea.-

Headshot for Katie

Last week I did a few headshots for Katie Goldberg. Katie works as a Wedding Director at Primrose Cottage in Roswell and is about to start her own independent company as a Bridal Consultant. I have worked with her before and it was a great experience, I know she will have a very successful company while she continues to enjoy working with couples and help them create everything they envision for their wedding day.

Here are a few of selected images from the session.

Katie's daughter, Natalie, was there too, and I could not resist... although she did not seem to enjoy the pumpkin much :)

A big thanks to Katie's mom for so graciously letting us invade her home. She has a beautiful home with many different areas that were just perfect for this session!

Expecting "Little One"

Meet jennifer & Mike.

This was last year, at their wedding in Atlanta. Since then, Jennifer has moved to Virginia to settle down with her new husband, but they come to Atlanta every once in a while to visit.

In their most recent trip, I had the honor of capturing this new an exciting time in their lives!

They are waiting until the "D" day to find out if they are having a girl or a boy... in the meantime it is "Little One" :)

Jennifer looks great!

Thanks again to both of you for allowing me to continue to document your family history. I can't wait to mee little one!

Love,
Andrea.-
